Introduction:
Dylan aka Lowlife Stunts aka Bike Life Bubba approached Tyler from Stinger Trailers (another client of mine) to see if I would desgin a logo for his brand. Dylan is an amazing rider and can do things on a motorcycle that make your head spin. His shows are all high energy as you can see from his instagram profile.
Project Overview:
The primary objective of this project was to create a visually compelling logo based on some direction I received through text messages. Dylan lives in the United States and weirdly enough – we have never met or communicated directly. This whole project was communicated through Tyler.
Target Audience:
Lowlife Stunts target audience encompassed a diverse range, including males aged 20-35, females aged 20-30, motorcycle owners, motorcycle enthusiasts, and motorcycle stunt lovers. These individuals shared a passion for adrenaline-filled activities, unique and daring stunts, road safety, and a sense of unity within their community. Dylan is also a father and wanted a logo that wouldn’t be inappropriate for children.
Conclusion:
This case study will serve as a testament to the successful partnership between Stinger Trailers, Lowlife Stunts, and my creative talents as an Art Director, highlighting the conception of a brand and the positive outcomes achieved through our collaboration.
Logo Design:
The logo design journey embarked with guidance from Dylan at @lowlifestunts, who sought a logo that could encapsulate the essence of American motorcycle culture. To kickstart the creative process, I received a screenshot of a reference logo. Armed with this single image as a foundation, I employed my conceptualization skills to craft several logo designs. These designs were then thoughtfully placed in mockups to provide a comprehensive visual representation of each logo’s potential.
Dylan expressed a strong affinity for a particular version of the logo, and he offered valuable feedback. Leveraging this input, I adeptly revised the logo to align it perfectly with his vision. This collaborative process resulted in a logo that authentically captured the spirit and aesthetic he had envisioned, effectively representing the essence of American motorcycle culture.
