Origin Story
From childhood sketches to becoming a dedicated Freelance Art Director, my journey has been filled with creativity and passion. My early days were marked by hours spent drawing beloved toy characters and crafting special birthday cards. This innate ability to blend colors and design harmoniously was a hint of the art director in the making.
However, hailing from a traditional Portuguese family, the emphasis was on acquiring a practical trade. This led me towards becoming a CNC Machinist post-high school. Concurrently, my interest in DJing emerged, and the need for event artwork became evident. This necessity introduced me to the realms of Photoshop and Illustrator. As I delved deeper into graphic design, creating visuals for raves and fellow DJs, my passion for the craft grew exponentially.
Recognizing this fervor, I decided to pursue formal education in Graphic Design for Print and Web. This decision marked the official commencement of my journey as a graphic designer, amalgamating my inherent creativity with acquired skills.
